The annual Nourishing Montgomery County event is nearly here!
It's happening right here at 2nd Street Market on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly and community-centered event with a focus on bringing awareness to the work being done across our local food system to make it more equitable, accessible and sustainable.
There will be tons of organizations present to discuss their resources, educational workshops and talks, steamed corn on the cob from the Carriage Hill steam engine, a visit from the Montgomery County Water Truck, crafts and activities in the Kids Fun Zone, a live radio broadcast with Oldies 97.3, and more!
