You may notice that I don’t post a lot of pics of my work… truth is, I hate the pics that come off my phone. They don’t look polished like the ones you see all over fb. SO, I’m going to stop worrying about editing out backgrounds, etc and just start posting.

Don’t ever underestimate your worth…

Let me tell you a short story about these clippers.
I started my apprenticeship in June of 2011. Christmas of 2011, my ex-husband (and we had divorced in April 2011) gave me these clippers as a present. I don’t remember how much they cost, but they were on clearance from Wal-Mart. That means they are not made to hold up to date in/day out professional use. I have used these SEVERAL times a week for almost 15 years now. I have never had them sharpened, never had to adjust them, and still charge them after the same amount of use.
**I’ve probably just jinxed them, but I think the point of this may be worth it 😝**

I say all of this to say… No one, including yourself, will ever know your true worth. We discount ourselves on a daily basis. We even let others discount our value. Call it humility or maybe just insecurity, whatever you want to attribute it to. Regardless, keep showing up for yourself and figuring it out. Even items on the clearance and scratch and dent isles go on to serve a purpose and do great things. Value can truly never be measured when it comes to non-tangible worth. Don’t limit yourself to what you or others THINK you are worth and can do.
