I didn’t do anything drastically different with Maddie’s application—it was really about the amount of product used. And I definitely couldn’t create this skin-like finish without my ride-or-die foundation, Dior Beauty Official Face & Body 🙌🏼 We still layered creams + powders for longevity, just with a much lighter hand. Eyes were kept VERY minimal with just mascara, and her lip was close to her natural lip color.
But the real KEY to a look this soft? SKIN PREP!
Maddie worked with her local esthetician leading up to her wedding, so her skin was already hydrated, smooth + healthy. That allowed me to use minimal product and simply enhance her skin rather than needing extra coverage to correct dryness or texture.
This is exactly why I encourage my brides to book one of our bridal skincare packages or work with a local esthetician before the wedding. Great bridal makeup starts with great skin prep! 🤍

Although I don’t get to take on as many prom clients anymore, I still love getting to play around with fun, glam looks like this every once in a while!!✨
Lexi told me she was not shy when it came to makeup and wanted full glam, and I was soo here for it 👏🏼 I’m obsessed with how her eyes popped, while still keeping the skin soft, glowy, and beautiful! 🤍
