❤️when taking a client back to her natural I always formulate with natural dimension in mind. I keep the root area juuuuuuat slightly deeper and cooler and the ends juuuuust slightly lighter. I always use demi-permanent so it fades naturally over time. The thing I know most is blondes always eventually wanna be blonde again. Using a demi helps ensure easy lifting for future appointments without damaging the hair. Health is wealth, y’all!

Shadow Root, tone, and chop. Kelly was unhappy with the tone of her hair and wanted something that’s lower maintenance and gentler on her hair. Her natural level is a 7 and deepened her root with 6.0 + 6.1 with 5vol and toned her ends with 8.0, 8.1, & 8.6 with 5vol. The result is what you see here.

Sometimes less is more! One of my favorite techniques is a hairline teasey-light foil, from forehead to nape. Virgin bleach application allowed me to get a clean, bright blonde! Toned with 9VM + 9AG + 2vol

And we’ve got ourselves another “back to my roots” this time with a little spice! was sick of her tired “ombre” hair. We chopped and did an all over deposit only color using 50g 7.0 7g 7.34 with 5vol. Grow out will be a breeze and adding that depth to her hair warmed up her skin! I’ll see her every 10-14 weeks for a trim to keep ends fresh while she grows out her hair!

My darling was a 7 month grown out balayage and completely lost all desired tone. She is looking for lower maintenance hair and to start gaining health and length back. I brought up her dimension with a partial hilight and toned her with 1/3 8.1 and 2/3 7.0 with 2vol for ten minutes. The result is a beautiful natural look with subtle dimension. The great thing about using a semi permanent is this toner will gradually fade over time giving her the evolution of her color. I did lift her to a level 8/9 to avoid unnecessary brass during the fade out process.
