Makeup by Lark

A few years ago I started filming reaction videos on wedding days. I wanted to capture this moment as much as I could. This is the moment that touches my heart and makes me feel so grateful to do what I do.

I had the honor of doing makeup for Meghan’s wedding last summer, and here’s what she had to say about getting her makeup done me 🥹

Lark did makeup for 8 lovely ladies on my wedding day and as I watched all of them get out the chair I have never seen such genuine and happy smiles. All of the moms and bridesmaids were in shock with just how amazing they not only looked, but felt. Every single person who sat in Lark’s chair on my wedding day spoke to me about how kind she was. “Lark is one of the nicest people I have ever met” was a quote from one of my bridesmaids.

If that doesn’t already have you convinced let me tell you. Lark and I did a trial makeup run for my wedding day. I wanted to still look and feel like myself, but have that slight glam look. Lark amazed me and had me feeling my best. On my wedding day we did that makeup again, but this time when she flipped the mirror for me to look at myself I cried. I have never felt so beautiful in my life.

With wedding season slowing down this time of year, I frequently find myself reminiscing. Seeing getting ready photos like these always makes me feel a sense of gratitude. What a special part of my career that I get to spend such precious moments with so many people.
✨Moments with brides as they share with me their excitement and nervousness just before they walk down the aisle.
✨With their friends, some they’ve known and loved since childhood, as they share goofy stories and sweet sentiments.
✨With their sisters, who share a special bond and are elated to welcome a sibling to the family.
✨And with their mothers and grandmothers whose faces share such a beautiful resemblance to the nearlyweds that invited me there.
The honor to be a part of these wedding days is not lost on me. I appreciate each and every person who chooses me to help make them feel like their best, most confident version of themselves for their special day.
