The Pretty Parlor Hair Salon

It’s never just hair. 🤍

You sit in my chair, and you share your life with me.

I hear about first dates, engagements, weddings, pregnancies, babies, graduations, new jobs, and new beginnings.

I also hear about heartbreaks, miscarriages, divorces, diagnoses, losses, and some of life’s hardest seasons.

I get to watch little girls grow into young women, brides become wives, wives become mamas, and babies grow up right before my eyes.

We laugh together, cry together, celebrate answered prayers, and sometimes pray for the ones we’re still waiting on.

Today she reminded me of all the times she sat in my chair longing for a baby. I silently stood behind her and prayed or her as I worked, she never knew. And today, that very answered prayer sat in my chair, too. 🥹

You may come to me for your hair, but somewhere along the way, you let me become a tiny part of your story.

And what a privilege that is.

It’s never just hair. And you’ll never be just an appointment to me. ❤️
