This week, I taught my students how to do two-strand twists, and they caught on so fast! These are their before-and-after results, and I’m so proud of how well they did. It’s always exciting seeing them learn a new skill and put it into practice! 👏🏽

This is my sweet client Retha🥹

This is her 4th time coming back to me for her usually Joy bob. During our appointments, we usually just sit, talk about a multitude of things, laugh, catch up… and one of our main conversations always consists of her giving me praise!

Out of all the ways to secure the ends of a braid, I personally choose not to burn or glue my clients’ ends.

When it comes to synthetic hair, I’m just not comfortable putting fire to it or using glue as the finishing step. I’m very intentional about what I put around my clients and how I finish their style.

For me, it’s about finding a method that gives you secure, long-lasting ends without having to rely on heat or adhesive. It may take a little more time, but I’d rather take that extra time to properly secure each braid than take the quickest route.

Because your comfort matters to me just as much as how long your braids last🫶🏽

Notice that I had to redo these two braids because they were significantly bigger than the rest? 👀

That’s because I’m big on making sure my clients get exactly what they paid for. I could’ve left them, but the details matter! If the braids aren’t consistent and I’m not 100% satisfied with the finished look, I’m going back in and fixing it. 🤎✨
