My client was tired of spending time every morning filling in her sparse brow tails and adding fullness to the fronts just to feel confident leaving the house.

So we gave her the best of BOTH worlds. 🤍

For her first Combo Brow session, I created delicate nano hair strokes through the fronts to mimic real brow hairs, then blended them into a soft powder brow through the body and tails for beautiful definition.

And that COLOR MATCH. 😍
We customized her pigment to work beautifully with her natural brow hair and coloring so everything blends together instead of looking “drawn on.”

✨ This is what a beautiful two-year fade can look like. ✨

The before photo shows my client’s brows about two years after her previous combo brow session, before today’s color boost.

At her last session, I used a mineral-based pigment, which is designed to soften and fade gradually over time. This can be a great option for clients who are hesitant about committing to a very long-term, heavily saturated brow.

You can still see a soft amount of color remaining, but they have faded enough to give me room to safely refresh her brows without simply layering more and more pigment into the skin.

As an artist, this is exactly what I want to see. Permanent makeup should age and soften. I would much rather have a client get to the point where she occasionally needs a little brow makeup again than continue tattooing over brows that are still too saturated.

Continually adding pigment before enough fading has occurred can eventually lead to brows looking too dense, muddy, or shifting into an unwanted tone.

Her two-year fade gave me the perfect canvas for a fresh combo brow color boost — bringing back definition while still keeping the brows soft and natural. 🤍
