For 14 weeks, I had the privilege of being part of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce ScaleUp cohort. It challenged me, stretched me, educated me, and gave me a community I’m incredibly grateful for.

Today, we graduated. 🎓 I also had the honor of giving the graduation speech on behalf of my fellow entrepreneurs.

There was a season when I was low personally, spiritually, and professionally. I couldn’t see how any of those pieces would eventually connect.

Turns out, God was writing one hell of a redemption arc. 🤍

Thank you, GDHCC, for investing in small business owners and creating spaces for us to grow.

No one will ever take your business as seriously as you do. Make the sacrifice. Take the class. Put yourself in rooms that require you to grow.

You are worth the investment, and so is the business you’re building. 🤍

The ironic part?

Somewhere out there, he’s probably taking credit for “motivating” me. 😂

Truth is… he may have lit the match, but I built the fire.

Some people are fueled by passion.

I’m fueled by, “Bet.” 😌

Now I get to help women build careers, confidence, and income doing what they love. Funny how that worked out.

My clients’ lash retention is off limits, and my lash adhesive has been informed accordingly. 🤏🏽😂

Summer humidity can be brutal, but understanding lash adhesive, humidity, temperature, and proper lash retention is what separates a good lash artist from a great one. Your products should work with your environment, not against it.

If you’re constantly struggling with retention once the weather changes, it isn’t always your technique. Sometimes it’s your environment, your adhesive, or knowing how to adapt.

Yesterday was editorial shoot day… which is really just me turning the volume all the way up on the ideas that keep me awake at 2 a.m. 😂

When I reached out to my photographer, I think my exact words were, “Get down in the trenches with me.” Because I wasn’t looking for someone to just take pictures. I needed someone willing to entertain the beautiful chaos in my brain.

One of the best things about owning a business is getting to create unapologetically. The logos, the shoots, the tiny details that probably no one notices… except me. And honestly? That’s enough.

Find people who get excited about your crazy ideas. Be intentional with who you invite into your vision. The right people don’t roll their eyes… they grab a shovel and hop into the trenches with you.
