As the holiday season is picking up and clients are starting to fight each other for ✨prime✨ appointment slots (joking, kind of), I figured now is a good time to go over the dreaded: policies! 👻
In the past, I haven’t been very strict about enforcing my boundaries (recovered people-pleasers IYKYK), but as my schedule is getting busier & holiday season is rapidly approaching, it has become extremely necessary. I have also experienced an increase in last-minute cancellations/reschedules within the past few months, so I feel it is time for a refresh.
Starting in October, I am going to be much firmer in enforcing my policies, especially my cancellation/reschedule policy. I totally understand that life happens, things come up, and needing to cancel or reschedule is perfectly fine! But when a client cancels or moves their appointment with less than 24 hour’s notice, it not only impacts my small business, but also affects other clients as someone may have been waiting for a spot to open up. So, don’t ever be afraid to message me if you know your appointment is coming up soon & you can’t make it! I’d prefer you do so, so I can try to fill that spot & get you rescheduled with no stress.
And for my last minute bookers(love u down badddd), please pre-book your holiday appointments so that you’re not stuck waiting for a spot to open up last minute! I can’t promise that appointments will be available if you wait too long!🫣
Thank you so much for understanding! I’m looking forward to holding hands w you soon!! 🥹🫶🏼

Want to book but not sure which tier your nail art falls under? This post is for you!🎨✨
Starting October 1st, 2026, all standard services include tier 1 Simple Nail Art! This means that if you enjoy getting simple designs, like French tips, cateye polishes, chrome finishes, or easy art like polka dots/stripes/accent nails, you don’t need an art upgrade when booking! If you still have any questions about booking your nail art, feel free to send me a DM! Once I reply, you can send me a pic of your inspo & I’ll tell you exactly which tier to book!💅🏼
Thank you to all of my amazing clients for being so supportive & kind during this transition! I’m so excited for the future looks we create together! 🥰🫶🏼

Thank you to all of my beautiful clients for your support and encouragement throughout this entire journey, as well as while I continue to grow & make decisions for my small business, and for choosing to fit my services into your budget. I don’t take your support for granted! These upcoming changes were not easy decisions, but I believe these are the necessary next steps towards my goals. 🥹❤️
These updates will go into effect October 1st, and will affect all existing & new appointments. If you have an upcoming October appointment you’d like to cancel, you may do so thru your confirmation email, or text me directly for assistance! I’d be sad to see you go, but I understand if my services no longer align with your needs, and can refer you to other local service providers. I hope to continue holding hands with you!

Have you had a tech pop your nails off?
I’ve had quite a few new clients come to me and are blown away by my soak-off process. They brace, waiting for pain, and are surprised that the entire removal process is smooth and easy. Your nail tech should NOT be popping your nails off with a tip! Point blank period. Your nails are made up of layers of tightly compressed keratin, and when a nail is forcibly removed, layers of that keratin come off with it. This leaves you with lifted layers of the nail exposed, thins out your natural nails, and causes extreme discomfort during the process. And the only way to heal is to grow those thinned layers out and trim them off. If a nail tech tries to pop your nails off with a tip, you should STOP the service, request a soak-off, and leave if they refuse or argue with you. A tech willing to do that doesn’t care about your nail health, and you should not be accepting this behavior as normal. A professional nail tech will never put your nail safety at risk this way, and should always keep your health & safety as a priority.
A soak-off involves filing down the old product, and soaking the nails in acetone, either in a bowl or with foils. The process shouldn’t hurt, and the old product should come off easily (like BUTTTAAA). It does add extra time in the service, so be prepared to relax and chill while your tech takes care of your nails safely! Good nails take time, at least in my chair they do! So, please book your soak-off with your service! 😉
