POV..... This is a long one, are you ready?

So, I needed professional pictures for the updated branding of my business. And, you guys know, getting ready for headshots is stressful. I'm a curlspecialist so, I wanted people to see me not only as an artist, but also as a person that walks the talk. I can't just say love your curls and I'm not a proud tight coily girl myself.

I was thinking about just adding some clip-ins for frontal length, but life started lifing and I ended up showcasing all my natural curls. I refused to let old insecurities ruin my shoot day. My hair is beautiful, and after life gave me a hard turn I'm even more determined to show my curlfriends that extensions are a choice not a crutch.

So, ofcourse I refreshed her shape, dove deep into a hydrating bond treatment, and switched up the style for an added layer of intense drama.

I had an amazing time editing the drama out Janeé Bolden curlstory. Like most curly girls wearing color, you have to guard against dryness and defend against build-up on your curls.
