Only took… almost 20 years. 😅
I was the kid filling every notebook with whimsical characters, bold line work, and enough color to make Lisa Frank proud. The dream was always to illustrate book covers and character art.
Then life happened. I used to cry through math, so my dream of going to SCAD ended before it really began. 😂 I started graphic design school… dropped out. Tried fine art school… life got in the way.
For a long time, I thought I had missed my chance. Turns out, dreams are patient. So here I am, picking up my Apple Pencil and creating again. I’m working on a few illustration projects for some incredible indie author friends, and it feels like reconnecting with a part of myself I thought I’d lost. Here’s to second chances and finally chasing the dream that never stopped waiting for me.

Non makeup post. I have dragged myself out of my 5-6 year hiatus of hermit illustration mode. 😅🤷♀️🫡 whoops forgot I can do this. What better to be back in the illustration realm than drawing one of my friends characters?! And also using my friends face for inspo haha.😆
