But real talk - this is brutal for small business owners like me trying to grow without a massive ad budget.
The stats are WILD:
* 2020: Posts reached 10-15% of followers
* 2025: Posts reach 2-3% of followers
* Business accounts get hit even harder
* Your posts are capped at reaching max 60% of followers anyway
So what do we do?
Option A: Pay Instagram thousands in ads (lol no thanks)
Option B: Work smarter:
* Post short, engaging videos (7-15 sec)
* Original content only (no TikTok reposts)
* Always use location tags
* Share posts to Stories immediately
* Respond to every comment FAST
* Get people to DM your posts (algorithm loves this)
Option C: Stop stressing about Instagram and focus on platforms that actually support small creators (👋 TikTok)
