I spend so many hours at the shop doing what I love, showing up for all of you, but it's also important that I show up for myself.

Allowing myself to be creative & engage in movement doing activities i enjoy replenishes me.

When I replenish i allow the release of taking on other's energies & this allows me to show up as my best self for you🤍🩵🧿

When I touch your body, my intention is to slow down & listen to what it tells me.

I ground into the Earth below me & she meets me for support.

A slow and deep controlled approach to massage therapy—often called Deep Tissue or Myofascial Release —is used to bypass the nervous system's protective guarding, safely reshape restrictive connective tissue, and break down painful adhesions.

Moving quickly or using brute force causes the body to resist and tighten up. (Think when you tense your shoulders as too quick movements are done in the low back)

A slow, deliberate pace allows the therapist to melt through superficial muscle layers and access chronic tension at the root without causing unnecessary trauma.

Fast, aggressive movements trigger a protective stretch reflex, causing the brain to contract the muscle to protect it. Moving slowly allows the nervous system to relax and accept the pressure rather than fighting against it.

**Observe how my client's full body shifts with movement as the muscles are relaxed, as opposed to tensing up in one area.....
