What are exosomes? And should these be used to help my hair grow back?

Exosomes act as tiny messengers that can support cellular communication, help address inflammation, and can be used in non-invasive hair loss treatments like Alma TED, when they’re part of the right treatment plan. If you’re considering exosomes for hair loss, know your source and concentration.

Book a Discovery Call with me to see if exosomes could benefit you in your hair loss recovery!

Growing healthy hair takes time, which means, we need to start months before you have a deadline.

But if your daughter’s wedding is 30 days away, starting today probably isn’t going to give you the results you want in time.

Hair growth is a process. Allow yourself time to understand what your hair and scalp need, establish a routine, and let your hair respond.

If you have an event coming up, don’t wait until the last minute. Let’s make a plan now. Set up a discovery call to start the process.

Are you getting enough essential fatty acids to support healthy hair?

EFAs play a role in healthy cell membranes, skin barrier function, and overall follicle health. You can find EFA’s in both whole foods and supplements.

I’m sharing more about EFAs, food sources, and what I look for in a quality supplement in my latest blog. Read the full post at the link in my bio.

Your hair can sometimes be the first clue that your body needs more support.

If you take acid reflux medications regularly and are experiencing thinning or increased shedding, it may be worth looking beyond the hair itself. Digestion and nutrient absorption play an important role in hair growth, and deficiencies in key nutrients can impact the hair cycle.

Rather than guessing, I like to look at the bigger picture and identify where your body may need support.

Your hair can sometimes be the first sign that something else needs attention.

This client came to me with significant shedding, and together we uncovered extremely low iron levels and the right next steps to support both her health and her hair.

If you’re experiencing thinning or increased shedding, book a Hair & Scalp Assessment and let’s look at what may be contributing to it.

Could finasteride be the right choice for your hair loss? It is not the right choice for everyone.

Finasteride works by blocking DHT, but your genetics can influence how your body responds to that particular medication. A hair specific DNA test can provide helpful insight into whether finasteride, or other medications, will be effective for you before you spend time and money on a treatment that may not deliver the results you’re looking for.

Curious what your DNA can tell you about your hair loss? Book a DNA test with me at the link in the comments or bio.

Could a walk or a bike ride be part of your hair health routine?

Managing stress is an important part of managing your overall health, which directly impacts your hair health. One of my favorite ways to slow down and reset is to spend time in nature, especially during this beautiful time of year here in Minnesota.

Use your time outside to listen to an audiobook, pray, listen to music, chat with your walking or biking partner, or simply leave the headphones behind and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of nature itself.

You don’t always need to add more to your routine. Sometimes, it’s about making space to slow down.

What’s your favorite way to unwind outside? Tell me in the comments!

Hair loss isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, and scarring alopecia can all look different and have very different causes. It’s also possible to experience more than one type of hair loss at the same time.

That’s why I don’t recommend guessing based on what you see in the mirror. Understanding why your hair is changing is the first step toward creating the right plan.

If you’re noticing increased shedding, thinning, or changes in your hair density, schedule a Hair & Scalp Assessment. I can help you understand what may be contributing to the changes you’re seeing.

What if you didn’t have to guess where to start with your hair loss?

When multiple factors may be contributing to your hair growth cycle, a Hair Follicle Test can help identify what your body may be telling us and give us a clearer place to begin. From there, I can help you prioritize the changes that matter most not only for your hair but your overall health.

Ready for a roadmap instead of more guesswork? Call me to learn more about Hair Follicle Testing and how we can get started.

The treatment is only part of the plan. Understanding the “why” matters, too.

When I understand what may be contributing to your hair loss, I can make more informed recommendations and choose treatments that support your specific needs. TED, microneedling, topical treatments and other therapies can be beneficial, but they work best when they’re part of a plan built around the underlying factors affecting your hair.
