Girl to girl… sometimes the healthiest thing you can do for your hair is let go of the length. 🤍✂️
When the ends are severely split, dry, brittle, or breaking, holding onto every last inch can actually lead to more damage over time.
Once a hair strand splits, that split can continue traveling up the hair shaft, creating more splitting, weakening the strand, and eventually causing more breakage. So what starts as a few damaged ends can turn into much more noticeable damage if it’s left alone.
• A haircut removes the damaged portion before the split has the opportunity to travel further.
• Regular trims help maintain stronger, healthier looking ends.
