She has over 20 years experience, and is no stranger to Sheik! Kelly and Melody have a 15-year work-history together.

LOOKING FOR “JUST THE RIGHT” HAIRSTYLIST OR NAIL TECH TO WORK WITH

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kelly Whidbee, and I’ve been a hairstylist for 18 years. I rent a small salon inside of Kenyon Bailey (about 300 square feet). I have an established clientele, and I work by appointment-only 4 days a week (T-F). I will not be in competition with you, and will refer anyone who doesn’t request me to you.

My clientele is middle aged to senior citizens. They come every 4 weeks mostly. Their services are haircuts and haircolor. I do not offer roller-sets or perms. OK, I think I have 2 perm clients and that’s it! I work with one client at a time, I stay on schedule, I’m very reliable, efficient, patient, and professional. I hope to find someone who has the same qualities.

I’m pretty quiet, but don’t perceive that as anything other than a little introverted. I won’t stay that way. You’ll laugh at me soon! You’ll be teasing me about how I’m not a hugger or mushy-gushy, just like the rest of the people who know me best.

I am a Christian, so the music and conversations usually reflect that. I don’t get too rowdy with cussing, and gossiping at work. I save that for home - Just kidding 😉

I’m very nervous to invite someone into my space, but financially it’s probably best. I’d like someone to contribute to the rent to make it easier on me. The ideal person would be:

Someone with a clientele
Licensed
Doesn’t overbook/stays on schedule (due to small space)
Doesn’t rely on hood dryers for services (no room for dryer chair)
Doesn’t offer acrylics (odor)
No potty-mouth
Honest/trustworthy
Dependable
Pays rent on time
Manages their supplies efficiently
Team oriented
Drama-free
Works normal business hours
Maintains professionalism at all times
