Our Condolences to the Seymour Family

Dear Cora’s guests,

With great sadness and heart break we are reaching to let you know that Cora’s husband Jeff tragically passed away of a heart attack on Sunday, February 28th.
Lemongrass front desk reception is taking care of her guests with upcoming appointments and rescheduling at this time so she and her 3 boys can properly grieve💔.
We have 2 independent stylists who are taking over her schedule as much as possible.

"Jeff was my very best friend, my love and soul mate. Until we meet again my love. He was the best father and husband I could ever have asked for. He had a beautiful smile and spirit with the heart to match all. He was a devoted father of 3 beautiful boys, a husband and friend who was the most generous at giving love and support to everyone around him. Jeff had the kindest soul to ever love and a positive attitude that radiated to all those around him. Jeff, we love you, will miss you , the boys will miss you tying their skates and we will all play another round of hockey soon enough."

As we learned again, the Salon industry closure has been extended for a minimum of 3 more weeks per the State of Californias new Southern California ICU capacity and stay at home orders

My hopes are to reopen Jan 17th 2021

I will be extending my days to accommodate all guest that have had to be cancelled during this time

Here we are again... forced to close for Hair and Spa services for a minimum of 3 weeks. Good news is that we will remain OPEN from 10-3PM for your retail shopping & Gift Certificate Purchases. We will also be allowed to offer acupuncture services with Celeste because its in the “ESSENTIAL” category... ♥️

We are moving to the Outdoor Garden!!

I am so happy to announce that Lemongrass has moved salon space to the outside garden! We understand the need for continued excellence service and are looking forward to provide you with all your hair needs.

As we know, things change daily, I will update you as soon as I know of any immediate changes that will effect your appointments.

We are lucky to have such a beautiful open and spacious garden area and we are adding canopies to be able to share Outdoor hair services.

• I will continue to honor all booked appointments, there may be slight adjustments to times

At this time we are not able to do blow-drys

• We will continue to offer pickups of Aveda product and color kits with how-to video, I look forward to provide and support you during this time.

If you would like to cancel your appointment I understand completely.

Welcome Back!!!

Hello to all of my amazing guest!! These last few months have been very hard on all of us, especially our HAIR!
With that being said, I’m happy to announce we are
RE-OPENING June 1st!!!!

This email is to inform you on the new rules and regulations that will be required for all to follow, in order to re-open. The salon is only allowed to be scheduled at 1/2 capacity, which means we have had to make some major schedule changes as well, and physical changes. As I mentioned before, we are working hard on our due diligence at creating a sanitized salon space. All staff completed the BARBICIDE Covid-19 certification. We have also been updating the salon with the State Board of Barbering & Cosmology rules of returning back to work. Dividers have been placed in shampoo bowl area, as well as upstairs. Each room will be set up with a sanitization station, as a extra precaution. A FULL wipe down of all tools and furniture in between each client will be required.
All rooms will be 1:1 ratio. That means only 1 guest per room at a time.

Upon arrival, you will be temperature checked at the gate, along with hand sanitizer station for your use. If you do have a fever over 99.9* or any other visual cold, flu symptoms you will be asked to re schedule your appointment 10-14 days later.
Our beverage station will not be available at this time.
Please keep your children and/or family members at home, as there will not be a waiting room available.

I will be working in the back room of salon, I will have a private door for entering and exiting. Just need to take a beautiful stroll through the garden to the small stair case on the right and you will find my new private suite. I will also be asking for credit cards to be on file for contactless payment. Product can also be pre-shopped for you and bagged up during your appointment. This will also be a contactless payment. Jewelry will be able to be viewed only. If you are interested in a piece, we can set up private viewing.

My new temporary schedule:

Monday 12-6
Tuesday 10-4(until June 30)
Thursday 9-4
Friday 9-3

Hand and scalp massages are not going to be offered at this time. Also we must refrain from handshakes and hugs (Boo)

Please bring your own mask with you to salon. If you do not have one or forget it I will provide you with a disposable one for you. I will be providing a disposal cape for each guest as well.
Please try and limit your personal belongings that you bring to your appointment.

If you already have a appointment with me in June I will be sending a confirmation text to confirm you want to keep it.
Please be patient with me as I will be taking appointments first call first serve and do my best to accommodate your request for appointments. If I am running behind, you will a receive a text alert.

As we learned today during the Governors announcement, Salons and Personal care business will not be allowed to open until Phase 3.
What does this mean? My goal is to give love through my creativity and reliability as your Stylist. This pandemic is nothing I could have ever imagined, so as hard as this is, we need to trust in the decision. At this time Lemongrass has set up to have a target date to reopen as JUNE 1.
All appointments scheduled will be cancelled and rescheduled when we have a positive open date.

At Lemongrass we are working hard to create a at home customized Aveda Color kit (highlights and balayage don’t apply).
This means we will have Kits available for curbside pick up options along with direction for use.
A waiver signed online will be required before your pick up.
Payments will be accepted through Lemongrass and proceeds will go to the rent payed for the space.

Customized touchup color kits: includes and requires Consultation for existing guest only

We will be sending directions/gloves with each kit.
*Color must be applied with in 1 hour from pick up
