When a last-minute cancellation or no-show happens, a service provider doesn’t just lose an appointment, we lose the income attached to time that was specifically reserved for that client.

As small business owners, our expenses don’t disappear when an appointment does. We’re still responsible for rent, booking software, insurance, supplies, education, taxes, and all of the other costs that come with running a business.

A 24-hour cancellation policy isn’t meant to punish anyone, and it definitely doesn’t mean we don’t understand that life happens. It simply gives us a little protection when reserved time suddenly becomes impossible to fill 😄

I would much rather have you sitting in my chair than charge a cancellation fee 🤍 Thank you to everyone who respects that time and understands why cancellation policies are such an important part of keeping a small business sustainable! ✨

Love when my clients are feelin themselves after I work my magic 💆‍♀️😄
