Hi everyone, we are very disappointed on what happened today at our barbershop, we want everybody to know we are ok but it was a scary situation for us and our clients. Today friday like any other day we were at the shop working and taking care of our clients. Around 2pm we received a call from dominoes confirming if we had place an order but we told them No, it might have been a mistake or something, they said it was under one the barbers name, address of the barbershop and barbershop's phone number. Few minutes later we received 2 pizzas with a receipt that had delivery instructions saying "help me, im hostage". This message and the whole order seemed very weird and wondered if it was a prank and told delivery guy that we did not make that order. The guy left with the pizzas, after that we received another call from papa John's, again, confirming if we had place an order with one the barber's name. Again told them they were the second place to have asked about us placing an order. (Know that we were working while all of this happened). Minutes later the police showed up after receiving a call from Papa John's. After finishing up with the clients our clients left the shop and encountered the sherrifs, we walked out and talked to them.

We dont understand why, why us and who. But we are very upset about this whole situation, whether it was a really bad prank or intention to hurt our business.

We opened this barbershop 6 months ago, our mindset has always been about doing the best work we can, be kind, respectful, and provide the best customer service.
We always try to do our best and will continue to do so, and we are always grateful for the support of the englewood community and our clientele

And we hope the authorities find the people behind this.
