It's seeing which one becomes 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 favorite. 😊

Some of you have been ordering the same scent for years (and I already know what's going in the box before I even pack your order 😉).

I honestly never know which one is going to become the next customer favorite, and that's part of what makes this so much fun.

Watching all of you over the years has actually given me an idea that I've been working on behind the scenes.

A spa day? A weekend away?

Those things are wonderful… but I’ve learned that self-care doesn’t always have to be something big.

Sometimes it’s as simple as enjoying your morning coffee, sitting outside for a few quiet minutes, or slowing down enough to enjoy your shower.

Those little moments matter. 💙

That’s one of the reasons I love creating handmade soaps and body care products.

Not because anyone needs more “stuff”…

But because I love making everyday routines feel a little more enjoyable.

A creamy lather.
A small moment just for you.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦?

One of the questions I get asked from time to time is...

"𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙤𝙖𝙥?"

The answer is always NO. 💙

Even after all these years, I still get excited every time I step into my soap studio.

I love choosing fragrances, blending oils, and pouring a fresh batch. But my favorite part? Cutting the soap the next day.

If you've never seen a loaf of handmade soap before it's cut into bars, imagine slicing into a cake without knowing what the inside looks like.

Every cut reveals the design hidden inside, and I still get that little spark of excitement with the very first slice.

Because the truth is... I never really know exactly how it’s going to turn out until that moment.

And I think that’s what I love about making soap. There’s always a little bit of surprise, creativity, and joy tucked into the process.

Back then, I was a nurse in Germany.

I never imagined I'd one day spend my mornings choosing fragrances, mixing oils, and creating products that would become part of someone's daily routine.

Blue Bison Soapery didn't start because I wanted to own a business.

It started because I was simply looking for something gentle enough for my own skin... and my kids' skin.

The rest of the story is one I'm finally sharing.

Today I will be:

I really do love chocolate. Dark chocolate especially. It’s kind of my emotional support. 🤭
