When it came time to celebrate Beauty Bar’s first birthday, we knew we didn’t want it to be just about us. This year only happened because of the people who believed in us, supported us, referred their friends, and kept walking through our doors.
So instead of throwing ourselves a party, we turned our entire salon into a red carpet runway experience for the people who helped build this dream.
With the incredible talent of local designer Shirley Kay, we transformed Beauty Bar into a full fashion show. Even better, every single model who walked our runway was a local female business owner. It was our way of celebrating the entrepreneurs, dreamers, and community that make Eugene so special.
To our VIP guests, thank you for trusting us with your hair, your confidence, and your stories over the past year. To our staff, thank you for pouring your hearts into every client who sits in your chair. To our family and friends, thank you for cheering us on through every late night, every challenge, and every milestone. And to the amazing local businesses who showed up and supported us, thank you for reminding us that community over competition really does exist.
One year down, and we’re just getting started.

One year ago today, Grace took a leap of faith with us, and I honestly can’t imagine Beauty Bar without her.
From day one, she’s been one of the foundations of our team. Through every challenge, every milestone, every busy day, and every exciting moment, she’s been right there with us. That’s what makes her one of the OGs.
Grace is the definition of consistency. She shows up, works hard, takes incredible care of her clients, and never hesitates to jump in and help a teammate. Whether she’s sharing her knowledge, offering encouragement, or simply bringing her calm, positive energy, she makes everyone around her better.
The culture we’ve built at Beauty Bar exists because of people like Grace. Kind, loyal, humble, hardworking, and always putting others first.
