This was a super fun appointment!
Precious came in with the request that I recreate her wedding makeup that she had done with another artist just a week prior. This newlywed and her husband are moving South and before they left they wanted to get a few more post-wedding photos. So happy to have met you, and best of luck on your big moving adventure. ✨ such a shame because I could have easily accepted you as a regular client.

This is what we want from you if you are not scheduling hair services with us. One of the main reasons I ask clients to wear their hair styled to their appointment, especially if your hair is going to be down for your event/occasion, is because of your contour.
✨ Let’s say you come in with your hair up, and we contour your face perfectly and you love the way it looks with your hair up, well 9/10 if you go home and take your hair out of the bun and style it down, most of your hair is going to cover your contour, and the last hour we spent doing your makeup and perfecting that contour was useless if it’s covered. If your hair is down to start with and we do your contour, at least we can ensure that the contour will be placed correctly for it to still peek through when the hair is down.
A few other reasons…
+ It helps to see the full look, especially if you are someone who is not used to wearing makeup.
+ Wait to make any adjustments until your hair is done and your dress or outfit is on. Again, this will help you see the bigger picture.
+ You could always come in an have your hair done. This way everything is taken care of for you. You don’t have to worry about going home without a/c and having to style your hair with hot tools and risk getting sweaty and uncomfortable.
+ Your makeup artist asks specific things from their clients. If we are asking, it’s for a reason, and I’ll tell you what….
