This install was extra special! I completed her mom’s loc install back in October 2021, and we always said that if her daughter ever decided to loc her hair, I would be the one to do it. Almost 5 years later, we made it happen! 🥹✨

At just 11 years old, she sat like a CHAMP for 22 hours over 2 days!

Three years ago, she trusted me with the start of her loc journey. Tomorrow, we celebrate 3 years locked! 🤎

There is nothing more rewarding than watching a client’s locs transform from fresh starters into healthy, mature locs. Every retie, every milestone, every appointment has been a part of this journey.

Today’s maintenance was completed using the interlocking method on her small traditional locs and finished with a Bantu knot crown in the front with twists in the back. Protective, elegant, and perfect for celebrating another year of growth.
