"Medical cannabis, CBD and H**p Updates" Conference on November 14 at 4-8 PM.
The Bio Nano Arkansas (BNA) is holding its 8th conference on November 14, Thursday at the Food Science Department at the University of Arkansas off of Garland Ave in Fayetteville. Registration will commence at 4 PM. The objective of this conference is to provide the audience with updates on the status of Medical Cannabis, CBD and H**p around the state. The Arkansas Medical Ma*****na Amendment (AMMA) was approved by voters in November, 2016 and in June 2018, the Medical Ma*****na Commission awarded licenses to five cultivation companies. In August of 2018, 32 dispensaries were chosen to sell under Arkansas ma*****na laws. Meanwhile, the H**p Farm Bill was signed into a law on December 2018. In this H**p Farm Bill, cannabis plants with no more than 0.3% delta 9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were removed from the Controlled Substance Act.

The speakers will provide a preview of the status of h**p growing, medical ma*****na, and CBD in Arkansas. Patients using CBD products for their medical conditions that are readily available in the market will provide their experiences. In addition to the medical and business updates, standard testing of CBD products will also be discussed. There will be a networking opportunity at the end of the presentations.
