I turn 34 today 🧁 so here’s some things I find kinda ✨chic✨

I’ve spent a lot of my life looking ahead or worrying I’m behind. I realized how easy it is to miss the people and moments right in front of me while I’m waiting for the next chapter. Presence is something I’m learning to choose, over and over again.

I’m incredibly aware of how blessed I am to finally be in a season where I don’t feel like I’m constantly in survival mode. I know so many people are starting businesses, rebuilding, providing for their families, juggling motherhood or simply doing whatever they have to do to make it. I’ve been there.

But somewhere along the way, I’d started believing my worth was tied to my productivity, my accomplishments and the next thing to achieve.

For me, I’ve felt convicted that hustle culture was never God’s plan for my life. Not because putting in work can’t be deeply meaningful… trust me, it always has! But that’s where it should have stayed because I’d let my performance become the measuring stick for my value.

I think my inner child deserved a comeback.

Some people notice sunsets. I notice eyebrows… and can’t help but wonder if she’d trust me with her Brazilian, too 🤍
