To all of my Eastern Shore MD and DE Livestock Show Families!!!!! Mark your calendars for these incredible and affordable opportunities to get your CVI Health Certificates to travel across state lines for livestock shows. CVIs are good for 30 days from the date of inspection. These will be a Drive Through, cash-only style format and will be held at Dills Dill's Auction Service, LLC.

A huge shoutout to Dr. Matthew Weeman at Central Shore Veterinary Services, Larry-Laura Dill Pomatto and Megan Fabi for working together to make this possible for our show families.

Please make sure to RSVP prior to each date (info below) you are planning on attending. Fewer then 10 RSVPs for a date will result in a cancellation of that date. Animal information sheets found below will also need to be completed before each visit and presented at check-in. Animals must be tagged with the appropriate RFID 840 tag or Scrapie tag and remain on your trailer during inspections.

Please reach out to myself, Megan, or Laura with any questions or for a pdf copy that we can send to your email. More details about the events found below along with the pre-animal info sheets needed per visit. Share, share, share!

Lots are now posted for our online sale this Wednesday 3/5!

It’s looking to be a great group of pigs that will be available this year! Multiple champions were sold out of the barn at last years Open House!

Teaching the next generation how to PCAI. Brooke nailed it on her first try!

It’s time to get sows bred for those January litters! Let us know if you need any breeding supplies! Breeding kits, Boar spray, L**e, Rods, and individual doses of Matrix are all in stock

Final cross boar we have this year is ZOMBIFIED!

Zombified is a littermate to Popular Monster and was always referred to as “baby bro”. He’s pictured at 4 months old because he tried to die on us….multiple times. Zombified is a complete, functional pig with big legs and was on track to maybe even be better than his brother until he got sick.

Main point is we liked this one a lot and decided to give him a chance and he will also see multiple sows in our herds.

Next up is POPULAR MONSTER

Popular Monster was the Supreme Champion Boar at the 2024 Delaware State Fair and came from our popular Midnight Oil litter this past spring. Other littermates have found success as well with one being the Third Overal Gilt at Clay County Fair (IN) and another the Champion Crossbred Gilt at the Caroline County Fair (MD). Many families who went through the barn wanted this one as a barrow, but we just couldn’t do it & are thankful we kept him intact. His mother was a first time gilt we call Trixie (Tricked Out x BKS) that originally came from Wendt’s who farrowed a litter of 13 all on her own. His grandma is the “Raffle” sow (now working for the Barr T firm) that has produced countless winners for the Wendt family. Sow family behind this guy is solid!

Spots are filling up, so if you know your breeding dates and want to use him it’s best to get on the books now. This dude has a lot of good things about him and we will be using him heavily in our own herds.
