🫶🏼HELP ME MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT EVEN BETTER 🫶🏼

Okay, I need some client feedback because I’ve been thinking about ways to make your time in my chair feel a little more personalized.

I used to keep snacks and drinks at the salon… and then slowly stopped because apparently I was the only one eating the snacks 😂 So before I bring everything back, I want to know what YOU would actually enjoy!

🥤 Drinks — would you want choices?
Dirty sodas? Coffee? Bottled water + flavor packets? Something else?

🍿 Snacks — yes or no?
And if yes… what are you actually reaching for? Sweet? Salty? Protein snacks? Candy?

🎶 Music — I’m thinking YOU pick the vibe for your appointment. Your playlist, artist, genre… whatever you’re feeling that day.

🖤 Cozy blanket — especially during those long color processing sessions.

And what else would make your appointment feel more like your time?

I want coming to the salon to be more than just getting your hair done. I want you to be able to settle in, get comfortable, and actually enjoy being here.

So tell me in the comments
What would make your salon experience feel a little more personalized? And please actually answer because otherwise I’m going to buy snacks for all of you and eat them myself again. 😂

🍂🔮 THE FALL HAIR FORECAST IS IN 🔮🍂

And apparently Fall 2026 said… make it RICH.

We’re trading some of those super bright summer blondes for deeper, shinier, moodier color — and I am absolutely here for it.

☕ Espresso Melts
Deep brunette with just enough dimension to keep it from feeling flat. Think expensive, glossy, ridiculously healthy-looking hair.

🍁 Cinnamon + Copper
Not necessarily bright orange copper — think cinnamon brown, soft copper ribbons and warm auburn. Basically fall leaves, but make it hair.

🍫 Velvet Brunette
Rich chocolate browns are going to be BIG. Depth, shine and subtle dimension instead of a million tiny highlights.

🥞 Maple Blonde
Blonde isn’t going anywhere for fall — she’s just getting warmer and softer. Creamy beige, maple, honey and golden tones are replacing some of the super icy summer blondes.

🌅 Golden-Hour Balayage
That lived-in, expensive-looking balayage is still very much alive. Warm golden ribbons, deeper roots and a grow-out that doesn’t have you panicking at week six.

🍒 Spiced Auburn
Somewhere between brunette and red lives one of my FAVORITE fall color families. Auburn, cherry-brown, cinnamon and mahogany tones are about to have their moment.

✨ AND THE BIGGEST FORECAST OF ALL: SHINE.
Glossy, healthy-looking hair is the vibe. Think dimensional color + rich tones + a fresh gloss instead of feeling like you have to go drastically lighter to make a change.

So if you’ve been telling me,
“I want to do something different for fall, but I don’t know what…”

Ohhhh, I have ideas. 😏🍂

What are we predicting for your fall hair era?
☕ Espresso
🍁 Copper/Cinnamon
🍫 Chocolate Brunette
🥞 Maple Blonde
🌅 Golden Balayage
🍒 Auburn

Drop yours below 👇

And yes… this is your reminder to get those fall color appointments on the books before everyone collectively decides they need new hair the first 60° day.

Just wanted to give everyone a little update since I’ve had to be out of the salon. 🤍

I had a lumbar puncture done Thursday and unfortunately ended up with a couple of leaks that didn’t seal on their own. After a VERY rough few days, I was finally able to get to Toledo today and have a blood patch done. Thankfully I felt relief pretty much immediately!

I’m going to take today and tomorrow to rest and give everything time to heal so I don’t end up right back where I started. 😅

So with that being said, the salon will be closed Tuesday and I’ll be back behind the chair Wednesday!

Please make sure you’re getting your appointments pre-booked. I’ve had to miss several days unexpectedly because of all of this, but I do still have some openings available coming up!

Thank you guys for being so patient with me and for all the messages checking on me. 🖤 I’m definitely ready to feel like myself again and get back to work!

🖤 A little salon update 🖤

I promise I am not intentionally ignoring salon messages, appointment requests, or anyone waiting to hear back from me.

I had a lumbar puncture done on Thursday and unfortunately developed complications afterward. I am now needing a blood patch and have been spending the last few days trying to manage my symptoms and recover.

If you have messaged me and haven’t received a response yet, please know I have seen messages coming in and I will get back to everyone as soon as I am physically able to sit up, focus, and work through them.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I get through this. 🖤

The last several weeks have been really unpredictable for me. After my MRI, my doctors found signs of Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), which is a condition where there’s too much pressure from the fluid surrounding the brain.

For me, that pressure has caused debilitating vertigo, blurred vision, eye strain, migraines, nausea, and episodes where I get shaky and my blood sugar seems to crash. My MRI also showed that the pressure has flattened my pituitary gland (called an empty sella), which can happen when the pressure has been elevated -which can cause an entire list of symptoms.

The hardest part is that this isn’t constant. I’ll have a week or even two where I feel almost like myself again, and then out of nowhere I’m right back to feeling awful. Today was one of those days. The dizziness and vision problems were so severe that I couldn’t safely come into the salon.

Being a hairstylist makes this especially difficult because once I start my day, I can’t just stop halfway through a color service and go home if I suddenly become too dizzy to stand or my vision gets worse. My clients deserve my full attention, steady hands, and for me to be able to safely complete every service. That means I have to make the decision before my day starts whether I’m well enough to work, and unfortunately today I wasn’t.

As for tomorrow, I honestly don’t know yet. That’s the frustrating part about this condition. I could wake up feeling perfectly fine, or I could wake up exactly like I did today. I’ll make that decision first thing in the morning and update everyone by 8:00 AM.

On Thursday, the salon will also be closed while I have a procedure that will measure the pressure of my spinal fluid and hopefully give my doctors the information they need to move forward with treatment.

Thank you all for being so patient and understanding while I navigate something I never expected to be dealing with. I know having to reschedule appointments is frustrating, and trust me, nobody is more frustrated than I am. I’m hopeful that Thursday brings some answers and, more importantly, a plan to start feeling like myself again. ❤️
