Today I realized how clutch MY people are!! These past 2 years have been filled with extreme highs and lows and I can’t explain how much I appreciate the people in my life that have been there.. just waiting for me to ask!! You all know who you are and I can’t thank you enough!! God has blessed me with a talent that has allowed me to open my SECOND Salon Location.
We often forget how fortunate we are until we hear about someone else’s day.. today while speaking with one of my clients about her day I was reminded of how blessed I am. She assumed I had seen the news clip of her house burning down last week. She didn’t plan on telling me about it because she is exhausted and simply out of tears. Unfortunately they did not have renters insurance and the home was not in their name.. they are currently nursing their two dogs back to health with the help of family members who have stepped up. Along with still working their 9 to 5’s in order to rebuild their lives. They literally lost everything they had! She was still positive through this because she knows Material items CAN be replaced.
With that being sad tomorrow is the ribbon cutting and open house at my Downtown location. Samantha has been with me since I started and I appreciate her loyalty along with the loyalty of ALL my clients more than I can ever explain.
So I am asking that as a community to make tomorrow about giving back.. if it’s put on your heart to help at all please stop by Beauty Affair in downtown flint inside the capitol theater with any donations. Not all donations come in the form of money. Anything is appreciated! Thank you in advance.
