A hair oil was my first iteration of .BILY

With my curly, sometimes straight, usually colored hair - I was always searching for something that would work. At the time, a stress + grief cocktail was also causing it to fall out. After many months and dozens of formulas I quit trying. I was happy to move forward with a body oil and my newly formed face oil.

Fast forward almost a year. My cousin Kaleigh Jelinek asked if I had anything to help with postpartum hair loss. I let her know I didn’t love what I had - but I would get back to work on one. A couple weeks later I had a sample for her. After testing the shelf life, I took it to market.

No. 0523 was BILY | Because I Love You 💙🤎 best seller last summer. The tradition continues.

More grateful than I can say for her support and for the push that brought this one back to life. Family I call friends is the greatest gift 🤎

July 14th is her birthday. No. 0714 has always been hers.

We celebrated the way she deserves - her fav for lunch,swimming with her kiddos, then homemade dessert. 🤎So grateful to have a built-in friend for this crazy life. A reminder to not take myself or life too seriously, and always there when a rabbit hole needs exploring. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and second in command at BILY.
