WE ARE MOVING

After having some staff changes over the past few months, our current lease coming to an end, and looking forward to what is most beneficial for our future, we have decided it is in our best interest to occupy a smaller footprint and move into a space that will work better for our current team, securing a stronger future for us in our community for years to come.

BEGINNING MONDAY, AUGUST 3RD - WE WILL BE LOCATED AT 110 E TUSCALOOSA ST, FLORENCE, AL 35630. The small strip of shops at the corner of Court St and Tuscaloosa St, across from FUMC. It will be business as usual on Wood Ave until then.

My other shop, PREY, is currently at that location. Unfortunately, it will be closing in a couple of weeks. This is the heartbreaking reality for countless independent businesses across the country in our current economic climate. A deep loss for PREY, but a wonderful gain for Ernest Barber. If you believe things happen for a reason and with divine timing, this is one of those instances.

Seven Points has been our beloved home for nearly five years and it will always be home in our hearts. I love this neighborhood so dearly and have done my very best to help it grow towards its full potential. We have so many wonderful businesses here who will continue that charge and make 7P the go-to spot in the Shoals both for now and for the future.

I will miss having our music space to host incredible artists, taking part in the Art Crawl, our family of neighboring businesses, and all of the many benefits of North Wood Avenue. But, I cannot wait to see what downtown has in store for us and I am so excited to start a new chapter in this city I have lived in and loved for my entire life. Come along with us!

HOLIDAY CUTS ARE HERE. Book your Thanksgiving cut now. Our schedule will fill up much faster than you think. Get a cut this week, maybe just a little shorter to last a few extra miles. We have some openings left for today. Daniel will also be gone most of next week. Don’t wait!

It’s that time again… 7 POINTS ART CRAWL. It’s a neighborhood staple and our favorite night of the year. We will be hosting .m.morrow (of and fame), performing sonic soundscape art inside the shop. Swing through for a hang on your way to hit up all the other spots.

-Licensed barber or cosmetologist in the state of Alabama and Lauderdale County
-Available three to five days a week (out of Mon-Sat)
-Values and exhibits inclusivity, community, professionalism, punctuality, and detail
-Experience in or familiarity with traditional barbershop culture, etiquette, and technique
