This beautiful salt + pepper transition has been a multiple-session journey from an all-over level 6–7 warm permanent color.

At each appointment, we’ve heavily highlighted to gradually break through that previous permanent color while protecting the integrity of her hair. Now we’re able to start shifting the tone cooler, blending those highlights into a more natural silver, ashy salt + pepper finish. 🧂✨

Gray transitions don’t always happen in one appointment—and they don’t have to! Slow and steady allows us to create a softer grow-out, maintain healthy hair, and work with her natural gray instead of constantly covering it.

And we’re not finished yet. 🤍 Each session gets us a little closer to the final goal using Igora Vibrance Demi permanent toners 🤗
