I can’t believe it! Today I celebrate 10 years as a graduated hair stylist.

I’ve stood behind the chair while you’ve told me you were pregnant, and I was the only one to know. I’ve stood there while you have cried about not being able to conceive. I laugh with you when you talk about the stupid things your husband does. I’ve cried with you when you’ve experienced the death of one. I’ve stood there and felt your heartache when your child was making bad choices. I’ve rejoiced when your kid became sober and graduated college. I’ve helped you decide how you were going to leave an abusive situation. Ive stood there when you met the love of your life. I’ve prayed with you about the loss of your job. I’ve celebrated with you on the promotion of a new one. I stood there to shave your head in hopes chemo would be less intense. I cried tears of joy when you beat cancer.

In the last 10 years I’ve learned I’m so much more than a hairstylist, and that you are so much more than a client. I’m forever thankful to share these moments of life with you. If you have ever sat in my chair, I appreciate you. I’m thankful for you, and I love you!

Hi! For anyone new, let me introduce myself. My name is Jay, and I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 10 years. I’m a stylist at and sincerely cherish the relationships I’ve built within the salon. I love everything my job entails, but blonding and extensions are my specialty!

I’m a momma to a very special little boy, two fur babies and married to the most amazing man. We live a very simple life, and that’s how we like it! I don’t spend much time on my phone. Therefore, social media isn’t my forte. I honestly do so many incredible heads of hair, and wish I shared more of them! I’m working on it 🤪
