Chrome Salon NY will be closed Thanksgiving Day 🦃

Why do we require new clients to come for consultation before scheduling color or highlights?
We are NOT your typical hair salon.
We work differently, to be the most effective.
We NEVER know what you’re going to walk in with!
Meet Shea, she’s gone through a two session color correction.
It’s taken 8+ hours, two stylists on the first session.

OUR GOAL DURING THE CONSULTATION:
1- To see what your hair looks like now, how thick, how long, is it damaged.
2- What learn what your hair goals are.
3- Are those goals realistic?
4- To plan which steps or processes we need to perform.
5- To do a test strand to be sure your hair can handle the process.
6- Estimate how long the appointment should take, schedule it properly.
7- Offer an estimate of the cost?
8- Offer an alternative plan in needed.
9- Discuss what future maintenance will look like?

🔘 We never want to run short on time, giving you and your hair the best possible outcome.
🔘 We do not want to run late for our other clients who are scheduled after.
🔘 We do not want you to be sticker shocked when you pay.
🔘 We do NOT want to burn out our stylists by placing a complex - corrective color on their schedule without them being fully prepared.

Shea’s initial corrective stage was done by Liz & Regina 5+ hours
Liz did the second session, giving Shea an all over non-ammonia based color, K18 treatment, and a healthy haircut. 2+ hours.

Shea may want to do fun colors herself in the future, which is okay.
We got her!
She cannot put anymore lightener on her hair until most of this is cut out.
We hid the damage, but it’s still there.
