I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about what actually brings me peace.
I’ve really enjoyed teaching massage
My teaching job has helped me expand my capacity to rise to new challenges I previously didn’t believe I was capable of and as a result, I learned a lot about myself and so with that said,
I’ve had to get honest with myself that I’ve been using it as a distraction from putting my focus and energy into my own business.
The funny thing is, this work is really what I am most passionate about. It’s the thing I actually wake up and can’t wait to do ✨
And yet, I’ve been avoiding it.
It’s uncomfortable putting yourself out there and not knowing what’s going to happen.
Sometimes it feels like the easy out to stay busy with what’s familiar rather than to take the risk on something you really care about.
I know however that the real risk sometimes comes from choosing what’s comfortable.
And it might mean peace comes from choosing the uncomfortable thing because deep down, you know it’s the right thing.
So I’m trying to trust that feeling a little more and give myself permission to go after the things that genuinely light me up, even when they’re intimidating.
One of the best things about barefoot massage isn’t the pressure created.
It’s the patience it allows.
When I work with my feet, I can use my body weight, gravity and a broader surface of contact.
That gives me the ability to slow down even more.
To stay.
To wait for the tissue to soften instead of trying to force it to.
Instead of constantly pushing for change, we can slow down, stay present, and give your body the time it needs to soften and respond in its own way.
You realize you don’t need more pressure.
Your body just needs enough time to feel safe enough to let go.
Less forcing. More listening.
So when we find that perfect spot we just hang out there for a while. 🫠

Hello Everyone!
I’m Ali, the face behind (above? 😆)the feet 👣
aaaaand as much as I love posting reels, I would love to a bit more formally introduce myself 👋🏼
I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist starting fresh down here in sunny Fort Myers- and I’m so grateful to be here🤗
I’ve been licensed since 2017, but if I’m being honest I’ve been a bodywork since birth it seems like- it truly feels like be my souls purpose to be of service in this way🙏🏼
I began my barefoot massage journey back in 2022 and from then on I’ve been so excited to share this work with the world 🧡
Some key pillars I consider vital to my practice are:
•the words we speak out loud to and about our bodies are heard by the body and deeply matter
•my job isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you listen. I believe in working with your body to help support its natural ability to adapt, heal, and recover. your body has wisdom, and I’m here to help you tune into it, not override it
•you will always know your body better than I will
•I am endlessly curious about the miracle that is our bodies and am always open to learning anything and everything new
•you are not “too much” and I have space on my table as long as you are open and respectful 🙏🏼
I truly wish to offer the support, curiosity, and compassion that I believe every body deserves.
My intention is to help you move more freely, feel more at home in your body, and leave each session feeling supported. 🧡
But in the massage world, we call em glutes 👍

#1. A free skin check 😎
A properly trained massage therapist gets familiar with your skin over time and often sees areas you can’t spot, especially your back, shoulders, & scalp.
While massage therapists don’t diagnose skin conditions, they can notice changes in moles, discoloration, or unusual tissue changes and refer you to get them checked by a Derm if needed.
#2. Little aches are addressed before becoming more serious 🧐
Most people wait until something hurts to address it.
During regular massage sessions, changes in tissue
quality, mobility, and muscle tension are often noticed long before they become symptoms.
Catching those small restrictions early can help prevent them from turning into chronic pain, headaches, limited mobility, or injuries.
#3. Better body awareness 🧠
One of the biggest predictors of long-term physical health is paying attention to your body.
Regular massage helps you recognize what’s normal for you and what’s not.
Clients often become more aware of their posture, stress levels, breathing patterns, jaw tension, sleep quality, and recovery needs.
That awareness tends to lead to better decisions outside the treatment room, too.
Some honorable mentions include- improved breathing patterns, improved digestion, and exercise recovery 💪🏼
Tell me some of your favorite benefits you’ve seen from massage!! 🙌🏼✨

Ashiatsu offers much more than just the pressure given, and the true benefits lie in it’s how it’s received 🙏🏼✨👣
