There’s POWER in my PIVOT 💪🏾

Since March 15, 2020, I’ve built and built what was known as VII Luxe — which recently transitioned to RefineHER Beauty.

I thought a new name and rebrand would be the dopamine hit I needed to keep going. Then I realized… I wasn’t fulfilled by the business I was rebranding — I was fulfilled by the process of rebranding and presenting what I’d worked so hard on.

On January 1st of this year, I launched what I like to call a growth agency — making logos, taking consultations, giving classes, the whole nine. And I realized: that’s where my heart is.

So after time in prayer, I’ve decided to shift out of the lash space and into something more fulfilling. It has been such a joy helping people discover where they’re called to, receive brand clarity, and watch everything come to life — and honestly, I want more of that. So I’ve enrolled in school and I’m officially pursuing marketing as I move forward.

I’ll be taking lash clients through December 29th, and after that, this chapter is officially paused (I’m always open to God reopening chapters according to His will).

5 years of VII Luxe, and we are just getting started!

For those who don’t know I have a ministry that is all about christian (Kingdom) marriage, helping people prepare, encouraging them on the journey, etc. My ministry has an annual conference that always takes place in July, and this year was no different.

But something happened this year that didn’t happen last year, it was like my whole life shifted, my whole perspective changed and I see life differently and I was so excited to come back here (to my business Instagram…somehow by God’s grace I have continued to gain clientele although I haven’t been posting*)

These last 5 years haven’t always been easy but God keeps giving me strength to keep going so here I am ready to continue the journey for another year if God allows!

After 5 years in the lash industry, I’ve created countless sets and tried all kinds of products — from gel pads and tape to humidifiers and dozens of lash brands. But through it all, there are always a few sets that truly hold my heart.

The first photo is hands down my favorite set I’ve ever done. I wasn’t sure it would turn out perfect while I was working on it, but when I finished… I fell completely in love!

The second photo marks the moment I finally found my groove with volume lashes. Before this, I was just doing my best and letting God handle the rest!

The last set happened just last month. The building lost power when I arrived at my suite, but I decided to lash anyway—and the results blew me away! It was a clear reminder of how far I’ve come on this journey, and I’m so proud of myself.

Being a business owner isn’t always rainbows and cotton candy, but I’m incredibly grateful for every client, every set, and every step forward. Celebrating all the small and big wins from here on out!
