Today was more than a Grand Reopening. It was a celebration of faith, growth, perseverance, community, and everything God has allowed us to build. 🤎

First and foremost, all glory to God. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Him.

To my incredible staff and clients — thank you for believing in this vision, trusting us with your curls, supporting every transition, referring others, and continuing to grow with us.

To my parents, family, friends, and amazing husband — thank you for the sacrifices, investments, encouragement, late nights, helping hands, and unwavering support throughout the years. I could not have built this without you.

And our new home wouldn’t be complete without our beautiful custom mural — a one-of-a-kind piece created specifically for Curl Creation Salon that represents our mission, our curls, and the confidence we want every person to feel when they walk through our doors. It brought the entire vision for Curl Creation Salon 2.0 together. 🎨✨

Custom Curl Shaping Cut + Style ✂️➰

This sweet curl friend traveled an hour to see us for her very first professional haircut—and the goal was clear: protect her length while giving her curls the shape and education they deserve. 🤎

With her low-porosity curls, we focused on creating a shape that complemented her density and natural curl pattern without taking away unnecessary length. We opted for a long-layered, rounded cut, keeping the curls elongated and bringing them down rather than up for a beautiful, weighted shape.

For styling, she wanted maximum definition with medium volume, so we customized her product combination using:

✨ Mizani Curl Defining Pudding
✨ Mizani Foam to set the curls
✨ A cocktail of Mizani True Textures medium-hold gel + Mizani Sleek Holding Gel for lasting definition and hold

And just look at those curls! 😍 She was SO happy with her results—and so was Mom. Beyond the haircut, we made sure she left with the knowledge and confidence to properly care for and style her low-porosity curls at home.

From grown-out color + grays ➡️ dimensional buttery blonde and beautifully defined curls!

We started with a Curlyage Highlight to strategically add brightness and dimension throughout her curls while keeping the finished color soft and blended. We also completed 100% gray coverage for a seamless foundation.

✂️ For her Custom Curl Shaping Cut, she wanted to maintain weight and minimize volume, so we created long layers that preserved her length and weighted shape while allowing her curls to move naturally.

For styling, her goal was MAXIMUM DEFINITION. We finished with Matrix Setter Mousse + Matrix Styling Gel to enhance and define every curl. ✨

8 hours later… THIS was the result. 😍 The dimension completely brought her curls to life!
