Let’s talk radial cheek lines for a second because I see this misconception ALL the time. 👀

A lot of people think these lines are something we treat with tox, but most of the time they’re actually caused by volume loss and thinning support under the skin.

Think of your skin like a mattress.
When the padding underneath starts thinning out, the fabric on top starts creasing and folding more easily. That’s why simply relaxing the muscle doesn’t always fix the issue- because the “support” underneath is missing.

Motherhood

The greatest thing my life has ever known.
My first baby came so unexpectedly and changed me forever. She gave me a kind of resilience and strength I didn’t even know existed inside of me. Cora shaped me in ways I could never fully put into words, she made me grow up, fight harder, soften deeper, and find a resilience I never thought I was capable of.
Then came Quinn during one of the most peaceful seasons of my life. She’s taught me a different kind of motherhood… slower, softer, more present. She reminds me to soak in every little moment instead of rushing through it.
I remind myself every day that I am no longer in survival mode. To enjoy them fully, because every day you meet a new version of your child while quietly saying goodbye to the last.
Two completely different journeys, but both have changed me down to my core. I love these girls with every single cell in my body in a way words will never fully explain.
Along the way, I’ve also been shaped by so many different versions of motherhood myself.
A stepmother who chose to love me like her own simply because her heart made room for me.
A biological mother I found my way back to later in life, a reminder that we’re all truly just doing life for the first time.
My late grandmother, who showed me what selflessness and leading with love truly looked like.
A mother-in-law who is truly an angel and an incredible grandmother, raising her grandson while still being such a beautiful support system for my girls too.
And my friends who are mothers as well. The ones who reassure me, support me, and help steady me while I navigate waters I’ve never been in before. I hope I can be even half the beam of light to them that they are to me, because they’ve carried me through some of my darkest moments.
Motherhood has looked different in every season of my life, but each version has left something meaningful behind. Every season has given me another kind of mother to love, learn from, and appreciate.
Wishing every mother a day where you feel deeply loved, appreciated, and truly celebrated for all that you are 💕
