“What is a sound bath?” 🧘🏾‍♀️✨

It’s one of the questions I get asked the most.

If you’ve ever been curious about sound baths, this video is for you. The next one is August 7th! Link in bio ✨

Let’s talk about your shoulders for a second

If your shoulders feel heavy, tight, or like they’re constantly sitting up near your ears, this is not just “normal tension”

Your upper traps are doing more work than they’re supposed to

This usually comes from
- Holding stress in the body (carrying “the weight of the world”)
- Poor posture over time (lack of support in your life)
- Always being in a forward position (always in a rush)
- Never fully letting the shoulders drop and reset (all gas, no breaks)

What happens is the body adapts
So now your “normal” is tension

When I’m working in this area I’m not just pressing into muscle
I’m slowing things down
Listening to the muscles (yes they speak!)
Working through fascia (more on this later, I’ll break it down for ya)
Helping the body actually let go instead of just pushing through it

There’s a difference between temporary relief and actual release

Most people haven’t felt what real release in this area feels like yet. Because it’s beyond just the physical

04/02/2026

I’ve been a little quiet on here, but not disconnected. I’ve been outside, in real spaces, connecting with people, working on bodies, and paying attention.

And recently, I’ve been re-connecting with myself, assessing what I’ve been suppressing, what doesn’t belong and what I can give more energy and love to. And after much reflection, the body responded in ways that called for my immediate attention.

And one thing I can’t ignore right now…

Almost everybody is holding stress in the same places

Shoulders tight and lifted
Neck stiff or restricted
Headaches coming from nowhere
Low back working overtime
Feet exhausted before the day is even over

It’s not random
It’s patterns
Pushing through stress without ever releasing it
It’s also trapped emotions 👀(that’s another post)

Most people don’t even realize how much their body is carrying until someone puts hands on them

This month I’m going to start breaking this down more

What I’m seeing
Why it’s happening
And how I actually approach it in session

For now just check in with yourself

Where is your body holding tension right now?

A “Laine” I’m most passionate about.

Chair massage at community events matters to me because it meets people where they already are. It brings wellness out of private rooms and into shared spaces where people gather, work, and give their energy every day. No barriers. No longer explanations. Just care, right in the middle of real life.

This lane allows me to show up in schools, nonprofits, markets, and community spaces, and offer relief that people can actually access. That access matters. That presence matters.

I am accepting bookings for spring. 🍃

Love doesn’t disappear after one day.
Neither does the need for rest and connection.

February availability remains open💌

It could all be so simple 😉
What matters is that it’s intentional.

A few spots open for mobile couples and individual session available this weekend❤️

Saturday at FunkyTown Mindful Market felt really special.

The weather showed up in the best way and gave us the space to slow down, breathe, and even facilitate sound healing throughout the day. Being able to offer moments of stillness outdoors, surrounded by community, felt grounding in a way that is hard to put into words.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared conversation, rested for a moment, or simply allowed themselves to pause. I always leave these markets feeling full in a different way. And shout out to .massage for coming out and lending some extra healing hands!

Grateful for days like this and looking forward to many more!

No reservations.
No noise.
No pressure to perform romance.

Just presence, touch, and time together. And I’m mobile too! 😉
