Feral Roots Conservatory

Beginning November 1st, Feral Roots will officially offer both Vibroacoustic Sound Lounge Sessions and Massage Therapy Services under one roof.
Vibroacoustic therapy combines specially designed music with gentle, low-frequency vibrations that are experienced throughout the body through the treatment table itself. The result is a deeply immersive experience designed to support relaxation, rest, and nervous system regulation.
These sessions will be available as:

A standalone Sound Lounge experience for clients seeking a fully clothed, hands-free restorative session.

An add-on to massage appointments before or after your session to help ease the transition into deeper relaxation and integration.

A combined sound and massage experience that layers therapeutic bodywork with vibroacoustic support.
As a practitioner whose work centers on both body-based care and sound-based healing approaches, this addition feels like a natural next step in the evolution of the studio.

Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing more details, photos, session options, and introductory offerings as the new table arrives and is prepared for service.
I look forward to welcoming you into this new chapter of Feral Roots!

🍂👻 A Friendly October Reminder From Your Massage Therapist 👻🍂

So... it has come to my attention that some of you may be out there collecting stress like it's a seasonal hobby.

You know who you are!
The last time I saw you, we loosened up that shoulder that had turned into a petrified tree root, coaxed your neck back into cooperation, and convinced your nervous system that it was, in fact, safe to relax.
And then...
✨ vanishes into the autumn mist ✨
Meanwhile:
Your shoulders are slowly migrating toward your ears. 🍂
Your jaw is carrying responsibilities that do not belong to it. 👻
That knot we worked on last time has reclaimed its territory and declared itself ruler of the kingdom.
Friends, this is your gentle October intervention.
You do not have to wait until your body starts communicating exclusively through creaks, groans, and haunted forest sound effects.
Come enjoy:
🕸️ Muscles that remember how to relax🎃 A nervous system that gets a chance to exhale🍂 Shoulders returned to their natural habitat👻 A brief break from carrying the entire world
And if you've been accidentally ghosting your massage therapist...
I forgive you.
Mostly. 😏

Now go book your October session before all the cozy-season appointments disappear into the void.

Last years Baba Yaga is up too in the stairwell! All kind of her body is a broom, but she’s still looking pretty good.. so we have Krampus and Baba Yaga decking out the stairwell for Halloween. If you’re walking in downtown, give us a vote. The scarecrows are only out during my operational times and then they’re brought back in to keep them safe for the evening. Unfortunately, I cannot leave the scarecrows out unsupervised!

But do you give me a vote daily. I did work hard on both of their forms and honestly, I can’t wait for next year to get started on the third Halloween figure… I have so many ideas!

Scarecrow Contest Voting - FXBG You can vote once a day for the 4 categories - Business, Funniest, Historic and Spookiest.

Vote for us in the scary category this year for the scarecrow competition in downtown Fredericksburg this year we did Krampus ran a little bit out of time but here he is and of course he gets his own special story!

A Winter Spirit Walking Before His Season
When the deep months gather at the edge of the world, Krampus wakes from the old forests and begins his cold patrol. He is the Horned One of Winter, keeper of ancient punishments, collector of mischief, judge of those who stray from their posts.

But this year, something has gone wrong.

The scarecrows of the fields have grown unruly long before the frost.

They whisper in the corn, wander from their watch, and meddle in the affairs of townsfolk. Some say they’ve taken to tricking children. Others claim they follow travelers at dusk, straw rustling where no wind blows.

Their misbehavior has stirred a winter spirit from his rest months too early.
So Krampus has come.

Not for children this time, but for the straw‑born troublemakers who refuse to mind their boundaries. He stalks the

October nights with his goat‑fur mantle, his clattering chains, and his red switch — hunting scarecrows who have forgotten their purpose. Those he catches are stuffed into his sack, their straw fingers the only sign of their fate.

If you see him on the stairwell, know this:

Winter has sent its guardian ahead of schedule.
And the scarecrows who misbehave will not see the first snow.

Who is ready for fall vibes? Next week our Pumpkin Chaga foot and leg scrub is complementary with all services to help celebrate the season.

I am back in the studio from vacation, which unfortunately had to be cut short due to illness. So this week instead of having a full schedule, some people had to be pushed back for now. It’s OK. It has given me time to fully arrive and do a deep clean of the studio check on inventory and while I can’t continue some of my projects for the shop just yet I am loading some of the salves and butters and things that I have already made onto the website, so there will be ready to ship next week.

Next week I do have appointments available that is when I will be back to my full availability so if you are looking to get in, please do book ahead of time!

🐾 Feral Roots Conservatory is Pet‑Friendly!

Some of my clients already know this… but many don’t. Your dog or cat is welcome to stay with you during your session. If your furry companion is part of your emotional support system, they don’t have to wait at home. They can curl up beside you in the massage room, settle on their blanket, or simply be present while you receive care. I offer gentle, quiet, private sound healing sessions designed to be soothing for both humans and animals, soft tones, slow pacing, and a calm, atmosphere.

Whether you’re booking bodywork, vibroacoustic therapy, or a solo sound healing session, your pet can join you for the entire treatment. This studio is a sanctuary for you and for the beings you love. If you’d like to schedule a pet‑friendly session or purchase a gift card during my Autumn Reset sale, you can do that anytime through Vagaro.
