We honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001 mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends and loved ones including the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families whose lives were forever changed.

As a firefighter family, this day holds an especially meaningful place in my heart.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the way our country came together as one. ❤️🤍💙
