🏈 SCOUTING REPORT: MOON & BACK - Handcrafted Botanicals

Well, apparently the CLASY scouting department has a celebrity connection to report.

MOON & BACK's shower steamers made it into John Legend's VIP dressing room gift basket when he performed at Raleigh's Red Hat Amphitheater.

We'd like to know if he used them, but apparently our scouting credentials don't extend backstage. 😂

Founded in 2020, MOON & BACK is a small-batch bath and body business best known for its soaps, quality ingredients and attention to detail.

But soaps are only part of the lineup.

They also create custom and branded gifts and party favors, giving businesses, organizations and event hosts a way to put something a little more personal into the hands of their guests.

And while the John Legend connection is a pretty fun addition to the scouting report, there's another story happening behind the scenes that we love even more.

MOON & BACK is helping develop the next generation of small business owners.

Right there in the family are two young entrepreneurs building their own brands: five-year-old Remy with REMY – Gloss Collection and nine-year-old Aaron with Dino Keys – By Aaron B.

And they're not just playing store.

They're learning about product design, inventory, pricing, vendor events and customer service, with a front-row seat to what it actually takes to build something of their own.

All while their mom balances professional work, family life and running MOON & BACK.

That's a pretty full schedule for a business that describes itself as a micro-business with macro-level intention.

And we happen to think that's a pretty great description.

Because building something small doesn't mean you're thinking small. Sometimes it means making really good products, creating meaningful opportunities for your family and occasionally finding your way into a Grammy winner's dressing room.

What Are Shower Steamers?

Shower steamers are aromatic, fizzy tablets designed to dissolve in water and release therapeutic steam infused with menthol crystals and essential oils.

Types of shower steamers:

This is perfect for winding down and calming your energy at the end of the day. Made with lavender essential oil.

💛 Energy:
Great for waking up the senses and getting you ready for the day. Made with menthol and lemon essential oil.

How do you use a shower steamer?

🤍 1. Turn on your hot water and let it run for at least 5 minutes with the door closed. Place a shower steamer on the floor of your shower, on a shelf, or in the baggie provided, making sure it’s not in the direct stream of water.

🤍 2. As it gets wet (activated), the steamer will begin to dissolve, releasing the menthol and essential oils into the steam.

🤍 3. Breathe deeply and enjoy the benefits of the menthol & essential oils.

🤍 4. For best results, avoid placing it in the direct stream of water. This can cause the steamer to dissolve too quickly.
