We welcomed our sweet boy Feb 12, 2026 @10:35am

9lb 14oz, 22inches long
He had a bit of a rough start and he spent 4 days in the NICU bc of TTN (transient tachypnea of newborn), aka “wet lung”).

He is now 5weeks old and the biggest joy and my greatest accomplishment. I have resigned from doing hair until further notice. I’ve waited almost 20 years for the job of being a mom and I’m not going to let it pass me by.
For the last 6 years I’ve really enjoyed taking care of other people’s hair and helping people explore their texture and live out their hair goals, but mommas gotta do what a mommas gotta do 🥰😘

Haven’t been on here in awhile— but here’s my update ✨✨

We are expecting our first child, OUR SON, in February 🥹💙 those who don’t know, I’ve struggled with infertility my entire life. Always been told I’d never have children. This is the only childhood dream I have left to chase. My work days have been cut to 3 days a week, and I will be leaving on maternity leave right before Christmas so we can prepare to welcome the tiniest love of our lives 💙💙💙 We thank God every day for this blessing that’s been given to us to love and to cherish. Growing him has been quite an adjustment, but I’m thankful for every single symptom and every single kick (which lately has been nonstop).

I’ll update (hopefully) when I plan on leaving and again when I plan on returning. 💙💙💙🥹🥹✨✨✨
