This is my new client, Sasha. She came to me with coppery brown hair with golden highlights. She wanted to eliminate the warm tones and opt for a cooler, brighter color. Four hours later, we achieved this beautiful, cool dimensional blonde. We are obsessed with her new look, and I’m so happy that I could make another guest feel beautiful!

I’m excited to share that I’ll be back to work on March 12, 2024! While I’m eager to reconnect, please be aware that my services will have some limitations as I continue to heal.

Appointments will be scheduled in the order received since January 19, 2024. Upon my return, I’ll be focusing on root color and lightening services. Standalone haircut appointments will not be available until mid-April to May.

Hi everyone. A lot of you have reached out with love and support and asked how they can help me get through this tough time. I just created a GoFundMe to help cover my surgery and life expenses while I am out of work the next 8 weeks. Anything you can give would mean the world to me.

Now that I have processed the initial shock, I am in a better place to share exactly what happened to my hand. On Friday, 1/19, I was working with a guest and reached for my scissors. They got caught in my smock, and I quickly went to try and catch them as I thought they were falling. Unfortunately, one of the scissor blades was sticking straight out. As I pulled my arm inward, the blade made contact, piercing my palm and exiting through the top of my hand, severing two tendons in the process. Doctors estimate about 8 weeks until I am fully recovered, though I’m hoping that with hard rest and physical therapy, I can be back sooner.

This has been a very traumatic and painful experience for me, but now that I am on the road to recovery, I’m trying to stay as positive as possible. All of the supportive messages, gift cards, flowers have been so comforting these last few days and I’m so grateful for everyone who has been there for me.

I want to specifically thank , who was waiting for her appointment and went immediately into nurse mode as soon as it happened. She rushed me to the ER, kept me calm and made me feel safe in all the chaos.

To my clients who had a reservation in the next 8 weeks: I will reach out to you each individually in early February and reschedule your appointment. As I transition back to work, I will likely have an assistant and be limited in the services I can provide until I’m fully healed. I hope to get back to my healthy, authentic self in no time!
