We can’t achieve perfect symmetry, but we can get close! This beautiful patient came all the way from DC for lip filler. We’ve done two sessions of lip filler and Botox to gradually increase the size and improve symmetry of her lips. Botox was used to soften her chin muscle (mentalis) which gives her lower face a softer and more delicate look. It was also used above the lip (lip flip) to decrease the downward tension on the top lip and give a subtle lift. Overall I am so thrilled with this result and I’m so glad I could make her trip worthwhile!

✖️Facial Balancing✖️

This ethereal bride-to-be made the drive from DC to get ready for her special day. Our journey started last year and since then she’s had quarterly Botox and two sessions of filler to create a subtle but soft and feminine result.

In the first session we focused on midface revolumization and chin projection. The most recent session was the cherry on top and we added a bit more to her chin as well as her nasolabial folds.

I’m so grateful for her trust, especially when it comes to her wedding day! This result is youthful, subtle, and delicate just we intended 🖤

I am so in love with this 5 year transformation! Over the last 5 years we did several sessions of natural facial balancing, a full lip revision, regular Botox treatments (peep that brow lift), skincare, and Sculptra for biostimulation. Today’s session was a little filler sprinkle along with the icing on the cake, SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® 💦 which helps with hydration and texture!

✖️CHIN FILLER✖️

Whenever I suggest chin filler to patients to enhance their overall facial balance and harmony, I can see the hesitation in their face.

Chin filler doesn’t need to be large or pointy, in fact, it SHOULDN’T. A feminine chin should be soft, delicate, a subtly defined. A masculine chin should be structured, broad, and projected. Chin filler creates balance in the overall face shape, most notably from the profile view. These nuances are what makes chin augmentations seamless, natural, and attractive.

Patients may be hesitant at first when chin filler is suggested, but they ALWAYS understand the vision once the procedure is over. They often look at me and say “why didn’t I do this sooner??” 🥹🤭

I am absolutely obsessed with this result on my long-term patient. Over the years we’ve made subtle and gradual enhancements that not only balanced her natural anatomy, but also slowed down her aging process. Lips will always be my first love, but full facial balancing and global harmony have become my favorite 🤌🏼 Results like these leave people wondering, did she? And if she did, why did she do?
