Six years ago TODAY, I stepped behind the mic for my very first auction! š¤ā¤ļø
It looked a little different than today. We were in a studio, hosting a virtual auction for an organization on the East Coast. ProductAV crushed the production and Inga and CW were there to support.
I had no idea that day just how much this experience would change my life. What started in a studio during a very strange time in the world has turned into six incredible years of fundraising, friendships, unforgettable moments, and the privilege of supporting organizations doing amazing things.
Iāve learned a LOT, found my voice (quite literally š), and discovered a career I absolutely love.
But what means the most to me isnāt the number of auctions Iāve done or the dollars weāve raised. Itās the people Iāve met, the stories Iāve heard, the causes Iāve been trusted to champion, and the moments that have reminded me why this work matters so much.
Six years ago, I had no idea where that first auction would lead. Today, I canāt imagine my life without this work. To every organization that has trusted me, every person who has encouraged me, and everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
What an incredible gift it is to get to do something you love while helping make a difference in the lives of others. Hereās to the next chapter. My heart is so full. ā¤ļø

š One of the greatest gifts of the work we do at Wild Hair Auctions is the incredible organizations we get to meet along the way.
While in Oklahoma City supporting White Fields, we were introduced to Curbside Flowers, and immediately fell in love with their mission! šø
Curbside Flowers is more than a flower shop. They provide meaningful employment, job training, and opportunities for people transitioning out of homelessness. Beautiful flowers with an even more beautiful purpose!
We wanted to find a way to support them from Denver and discovered they also operate Curbside Apparel, a screen-printing business with that same incredible mission.
Now, we couldnāt get behind all the OKC Thunder merch (if weāre being honest, weāre not exactly basketball fans šš), but we COULD get behind a Curbside branded tee!
So today, weāre proudly repping Curbside all the way from Denver! š
This is what we love about our work. We show up to support one organization and leave inspired by another. The connections, the missions, the people doing good in their communities, itās why we love what we do.
Good work deserves to be celebrated, supported, and WORN! šā¤ļø
Go check out Curbside Chronicle Even if youāre nowhere near OKC, there are ways to support their mission!
⨠RADICAL GENEROSITY. āØ
Thatās the only way to describe what we experienced at SALUD benefiting Escuela de Guadalupe this weekend! ā¤ļø
The energy was electric, the vibe was perfect, and the donors showed up READY to make a difference. And wow, did they deliver!
Behind every incredible event is a team that makes it look effortless. Zoe and Caroline, you absolutely knocked it out of the park! Every detail was thoughtfully executed, creating the perfect space for generosity to shine.
For the fourth year, Wild Hair Auctions had the honor of being part of this special evening. Escuela de Guadalupeās commitment to bilingual education, opportunity, and empowering the next generation is a mission worth showing up for, year after year.
We may play just a small part in the evening, but getting to witness a room full of people come together and give so generously? Thatās why we do what we do.
Congratulations to the entire Escuela de Guadalupe community on an unforgettable night. Thank you for trusting us to help tell your story and inspire generosity. ā¤ļø
Still thinking about the Access Mode Colorado Innovators Breakfast and the incredible people and stories that filled that room.
From the fireside chat with Dr. Andre Perry and DDES alumni parent Marisol Solarte-Erlacher, to hearing directly from the womenās cohort, to intern Sofiaās beautiful words about the person who inspires her most, her sister, the morning was such a powerful reminder of what can happen when talent is met with access and opportunity.
And that is exactly what Access Mode is creating.
Access Mode works to remove barriers for BIPOC tech founders by connecting them with the mentorship, education, capital, networks, and community they need to take an idea from prototype toward a viable, growing company. It isnāt simply about opening a door itās about making sure talented founders have the resources and relationships to walk through it and thrive. (Access Mode)
Simone absolutely rocked the program, and Wild Hair Auctions was honored to play our small part by running registration and helping welcome everyone into the room.
I also loved getting to support co-founder and CEO Zaneta Kelsey and the incredible work she has built, along with Arieze, Lissah, and the team who put so much into making this morning happen.
We walked in to help with an event.
We walked out inspired.
And saying inspired honestly feels like an understatement.
What a morning. What a mission. What an incredible community of innovators. ā¤ļø

Small crowd. Mighty impact. šŖšļø
Tonight with Womenās Wilderness was one of those reminders that you donāt need a packed ballroom to create something powerful. You need people who are committed, who believe in the mission, and who are willing to create room for others.
And this room showed up.
We were completely moved by Zeinab ā the first Afghan woman to complete a half IRONMAN. Let that sink in. But her accomplishments are only part of what makes her remarkable. She is strong, funny, fearless, an absolute badassā¦and a VERY hard act to follow when youāre the auctioneer handed the microphone next. š
Her story was such a beautiful reflection of what Womenās Wilderness does: creating spaces where women and girls can take up room, find their strength, build confidence and discover that they are capable of more than they imagined.
That was the heart of our paddle raise tonight.
Create room.
Room to belong.
Room to be brave.
Room to try something hard.
Room to discover just how powerful you already are.
Small but mighty crowd and they understood the assignment. ā¤ļø
So grateful Wild Hair Auctions got to be a small part of making that room a little bigger tonight.
I love taking the mic ā but I genuinely love supporting other auctioneers from the floor just as much. ā¤ļø
Iāve had the privilege of ringing for Seth the last two years, and apparently Iāve also committed to the same dress, different color scheme. š
Thereās something so fun about being in the crowd ā finding the bidders, keeping the energy up, celebrating the big moments, and helping the auctioneer make the most of the room. Nights like this remind me just how important a great ring team is.
And speaking of great ring teamsā¦Summit Auctioneers Collective is looking to add a few more ringmen/ring people to our crew!
If youāre outgoing, comfortable approaching people, can bring the energy and think youād have fun working fundraising events with us, Iād love to hear from you.
Because sometimes Iām happiest with the mic in my hand⦠and sometimes Iām perfectly happy yelling from the floor. š
What an incredible, thoughtful experience at Perfectly Made AF. āØ
From a mobile planetarium created by CU students to aura photography, tarot and face readers, interactive paintingāwith a big live-auction revealāand delicious drinks from 303 SoBar, every detail invited us to connect, reflect and experience something new.
Kelly, as always, spoke from the heart about her brother and her own journey through The Path. Romeo challenged us to help fund someoneās next life, fund the turning point and be the rippleāand the donors answered.
Iām honored to have played a small part in this beautiful second event. Tonight was proof that you donāt need alcohol to enjoy a truly out-of-this-world evening. š«
What a day for Adams Camp! ā³ļø
The Sanctuary is absolutely unreal and the golfers came ready to give. Together, we topped last yearās fundraising total in support of the life-changing work that happens through 5 days, 5 kids and 5 therapists.
Adams Camp doesnāt just serve the child. They support the whole family and everyone is better for it.
This one was extra special because it was one of my last events working alongside Coleman before he heads off on his big New Zealand adventure.
Grateful to be part of another incredible day for this incredible mission. š

One of my favorite days of the year is almost here! ā¤ļø
On July 18, I'll once again have the privilege of serving as a ringman at the Park County Fair Livestock Sale.
This year is especially meaningful because it's Ashlyn's final year showing. I've had the joy of watching her dedication over the years, and I'm honored to be there as she closes this chapter.
I truly love being part of this event each year. These amazing young exhibitors spend months caring for, raising, and preparing their animals. The work ethic, responsibility, and pride they bring to the ring is incredible to witness, and it's a privilege to help them showcase all of that hard work.
I can't wait to cheer on these outstanding kids and help make the sale a success. If you've never attended a junior livestock sale, you're missing one of the best examples of determination, community, and the next generation of leaders.
See you on July 18! šššš

Last week SECOR Cares celebrated 20 years in true Roaring 20s style and what a night it was. The community showed up ready to give, and they absolutely stepped up to support neighbors facing food insecurity right here in our suburbs.
The attire? Incredible. Sequins, feathers, fringeā¦people committed to the theme and made the room feel electric. And as always, Brie and Lisa completely killed it bringing the vision to life.
Honored to be back for another year supporting an organization that continues to lead with dignity, compassion, and real impact. Hereās to 20 years of caring for this community and to the next 20.
