Summer time tips and tricks
Our sun is most intense in the summer time and leaves us more susceptible to hyperpigmentation and sun damage. A brightening serum is an absolute must if you struggle with pigmentation or want to prevent this down the road. (You can always contact me or ask at your appointment for recommendations on a serum best suited for your skin and condition)

Vitamin C is a must have in your summer regimen as its abundant in antioxidants which reduces oxidative stress and free radical damage, it also helps to preserve the collagen and maintain a brighter more even complexion.

SPF application and reapplication is a must and as always I prefer a mineral based spf! Mineral based reduces inflammation and heat in the skin that can exacerbate pigmentation, melasma and rosacea. Double down with protective items and choices, like limiting sun exposure, staying in the shade, wearing a hat or choosing to be out during lower uv index times of day.
