I'm a former Miss Potawatomi Nation and I started frankening at a young age. I enjoyed mixing different colors together to make something new. I always dreamed of owning my own polish line and the Indie polish craze has helped make that dream a reality. The name Native War Paints refers to my dad's opinion that I was wearing too much make up or a polish that was too flashy as a teenager. Being a conservative Native American man, he didn't approve of my flashy appearance and he would tell me to "Go wash off that war paint."
