Shy grew up in Buffalo, NY and studied hair at MarJón School of Beauty in Tonawanda, NY, and Dudley Beauty College in Washington, DC. She is a former service member of the United States Air Force and a recent graduate of Bowie State University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications. Shy also has a passion for serving her community carrying out this commitment through her work as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Shy's brand encompasses the entrepreneur, leader, and business woman who captivates audiences worldwide.
