Yes, curly textures require work, but great quality will always bounce back. Some prefer not to do much to their hair so they textured styles.
I always suggest detangling with a braid or twist at night to avoid tangles. If you like the wet look, mix water and leave-in to a spray bottle and lightly mist the hair. The curls will revert back every time.
